Take 52 Weekly Photo Critique – Silhouette

This week’s theme gave us another little insight into the lives of challengers – Week 25: 5 O’Clock

The image below that I choose to critique is by Barbara Keusch and is a great example of a silhouette.

Image Stats:

Shutter Speed: 1/1000

Aperture: f/5.6

ISO: 200

If you would like to try to capture a silhouette image, remember to shoot a backlit subject and deliberately underexpose your image.  You can do this even in Program Auto mode. Check out my video post which explains how to use Exposure Compensation for this.
